dc.description.abstract Globalization which brings increasingly sophisticated modes of transportation has both positive and negative impacts. The easier it is for people to move from one place to another, the more security vulnerabilities increase, one of which is the act of transnational terrorism likely to happen around the world and no exception for Indonesia. Indonesia experienced a range of transnational terrorist attacks, such as the Bali bombing in 2002 which killed 202 people of various nationalities and the Sarinah attack in 2016 which was committed by a transnational terrorist syndicate. Moreover, in 2015, it was reported that 300 to 700 Indonesians have joined ISIS. Transnational terrorism exploits international mobility to carry out its actions by falsifying data, theft of travel documents, and abuse of residence permits. Enhanced border security measures are needed to disrupt the travel of terrorists, one of which is maintaining good coordination between NCB-Interpol Indonesia􀂲as Indonesia's representative in international police cooperation􀂲and the Ditjen Imigrasi􀂲 as the frontline institution in managing traffic of people. Through the linkage actors and inter-organizational relations theory, this study aims to identify the role of NCB-Interpol Indonesia in co􀁘n􀁗ering 􀁗errori􀁖􀁗􀁖􀂶 􀁗ra􀁙el, its membership in ICPO-Interpol, and how it works with Ditjen Imigrasi. This thesis found that the collaboration between the two institutions indicates the nature of complementarity, reciprocity, and respect for each other's policies. en_US
